No problem
Year: 1987
Company: Edra
Designer: Giovanni Levanti
In the second half of the 80s some Italian leading companies welcomed a new generation of designers: Edra was among them introducing – a few years before the shift which would take it into the territories of fashion and luxury – the collection I Nuovissimi Edra (by M. Morozzi) at Galleria Marconi in Milan. The No Problem sofa conveys simplicity and density: a plastic sheet is shaped, covered, bent and fixed on its base. The thinness of the plastic material allows a certain flexibility made safe by a steel support . Three large cushions in quite saturated colours contrast with the black of the welcoming shell.
