Tati aligns a coat stand with an umbrella stand on a single base. A gaunt and almost bare object that seems to look with irony at the modernist style by altering the traditional, figurative performance: a big chrome tube, from which four rods protrude, is placed on a small frosted glass base which is, in turn, supported by an aluminium tube whose diameter is smaller. Next to it – almost like a friend – the umbrella stand is characterized by a circle that seems to grow from a bowl placed on the single base.
